Inkululeko Technologies is a proudly South African ICT enterprise that aims to deliver best practice services with a choice of award winning products to best serve our Client’s goals and requirements.
Since its inception in 2006, Inkululeko’s key focus is to add value through a people first delivery system. Our motto is freedom(inkululeko) through technology thus advocate the use of free and open source software. Inkululeko started its operation through an organisational exit program,tuXlabs, and seed funding of the Shuttleworth Foundation.
With Offices in Gauteng and Cape Town, Inkululeko is able to deliver services throughout Southern Africa. Through our network of collaboration Partners, Inkululeko is able to deliver turnkey solutions to support our Client’s requirements, technical specifications and budgetary constraints.
Inkululeko’s committed Team offer over 20 years of award winning ICT implementation projects, software, hardware, training, program/project management and consulting expertise.
Inkululeko is 100% black owned with 40% of the staff female. Inkululeko complies with Government’s BBBEE procurement policies and offers Corporates the benefist associated with preferential procurement guidelines and enterprise development.

We do this by getting involved; by volunteering our time; and by sharing our intellectual capital, tools, and financial resources with a variety of non-profit organisations. ICT in Schools
www.tuXlabs.org.za – is a model for deployment of School ICT classrooms using open source software. Was founded by Hilton Theunissen in 2002 and sponsored by Shuttlewoth Foundation during 2003-2007. Other sponsors includes ENGEN, Pick n’ Pay, Metropolitan, P4 Radio, General Motors, Ubuntu Education Fund, ABSA Foundation, Gift for the Givers, Prudential Fund Managers, Hulamin, Bharat Bhatia (US) and JMC. Inkululeko continues to support over 100 active under privilage schools throughout South Africa with technical support, free hardware and sustainability support models. tuXlabs Schools continue to enjoy use if theĀ Computers4kids content, from the UWC Social Content Network Portal, technical support from Wizzy Digital and a host of volunteers.
Connecting Schools
www.schoolwan.org.za – connectivity project that aims to conect Cape tuXlabs to the Internet. The project was initiated by Inkululeko in 2006, funded by Pick n’ Pay and currently supported by Amobia and Wizzy Digital.
e-Content in Schools
http://scns.uwc.ac.za – open content portal. Inkululeko’s Cape staff continue to promote the service and deliver training to educators.
